This tutorial demonstrates how to knit Judy's Magic Cast On for toe-up socks. This technique is used in my TAATTU Socks Formula knitting pattern and my Go With the Flow Socks knitting pattern.
*Please note: This tutorial does *not* result in twisted stitches on one needle as the original Judy’s Magic Cast On does, so you don’t need to knit through the back loop on the first round. If you’ve seen other tutorials for this cast on, make sure you come up between the needles and down around the back to cast on stitches on the top needle, rather than bringing the yarn up around the back and down between the needles for the top needle.*
