Hayloft Hat Knitting Kit
Couldn't load pickup availability
Knit your own Hayloft Hat with this naturally dyed knitting kit! The texture and broken lines of the slip stitch pattern of this beanie makes for a cozy, visual interesting hat but also a fun knit! The folded brim is easy to work and adds a clean edge to the beanie. This hat can be worked in one color or two, with a high or low contrast depending on personal preference. The thick, squishy fabric of the slip stitch makes this the perfect accessory for staying warm on a cold autumn evening!
Each kit contains a link to download the pattern as well as two skeins of Bulky Meripaca, one naturally dyed and one undyed.
Bulky Meripaca
Fiber: 60% Fine Merino Wool, 40% Baby Alpaca (non-superwash)
Weight: 100g / 3.5oz
Length: 109yds / 100m
Care Instructions: Hand wash and dry flat. Do not machine wash or dry.
Each skein is hand-dyed in small batches, and there might be slight variations from the photos. I do my best to ensure the photos are accurate and that each skein is as consistent as is possible with natural kettle dyeing techniques. Each skein is unique and one-of-a-kind, which is part of their charm!
Natural dye note: Due to the nature of some natural dyes (especially logwood), some color may transfer to your hands when knitting/crocheting. This is normal, and the color will wash off your skin easily with soap and warm water. If you are doing colorwork, wash the yarn before use until water runs clear.
Note: Colors may appear different in person than in listing photos due to different monitor settings.
