Testimonials
"We were looking for a designer that not only embodied our own contemporary and classic aesthetic but also aligned with our values. Jules takes my loose directives ("feature this yarn", "focus on adventurous knitters", "I love cables") and runs with it, always coming back with something we are both excited about. I have also appreciated her openness to feedback, pattern notes, and overall, just collaborating on something we want to share with the world!"
Virginia Johnson, Gather Here
“It was a joy to work with Jules on patterns for our shop! Her patterns are loved by customers, easy to follow, and showcase our yarns beautifully!“
Sara Ingle, Boston Fiber Company
"Jules designed a beautiful pattern for a cowl for New England Farm and Fiber’s Knit Along in the winter of 2024. The pattern promoted the use of farm yarns and gave recommendations, which was truly a support for the many small farm vendors that have been involved with New England Farm and Fiber’s Festivals. As organizer of the Festival, I enjoyed Juliette’s easygoing, yet professional manner to help coordinate something special in a more-than-timely fashion. The collaboration was successful and a reflection of Jules’ expertise and experience, sensitivity to others, and sophisticated artistic work. I definitely look forward to working with Juliette Pécaut Designs in the future."
Tammy White, Wing and A Prayer Farm
Jules is a thoughtful and collaborative designer with deep knowledge of fibers, techniques, and design. I approached her about a project to promote one of my colorway collections and she was eager and enthusiastic for the duration of the project. Together we determined the optimal fiber choice and garment type to both meet her needs as a designer and my needs as an indie yarn dyer. The finished garment, the Lava Flow Shawl, is a beautiful accessory that allows both the design and the fiber to shine. I would be happy to work with Jules again and highly recommend her design expertise.
