Not a Phase Neckerchief Knitting Pattern

Show off your Pride with this striped garter stitch neckerchief! With simple stitches and a neat i-cord border, this is a great pattern for beginners to learn a few new skills. Instructions are given for six specific Pride flag patterns, but this versatile pattern is easy to customize for any stripe pattern. Add buttons, a shawl pin, or a shawl cuff to make securing it around your neck easy, or attach additional i-cords at the corner to tie around your head as a bandana!

Yarn

• ●      MC: Hobbii Friends Wool (100% wool; worsted weight; 109yds/50g). Color 04 “Cream”. 1 skein.
• ●      CCs: Scraps of worsted weight wool in your Pride colors; you can also hold thinner strands together to create a similar weight to your MC. 

Needles

• US 7 (4.5mm) straight or circular needles, or size to obtain gauge

• 34 sts and 22 rows = 4” in garter stitch, blocked
